Friends of Manor Green will be celebrating the Jubilee with nationally acclaimed Stop Gap Dance Company performing their current touring show at a Jubilee Fete for Manor Green College and Manor Green Primary School on June 11th. The fete will be open to all Crawley residents with access to the field via the Ifield Community College side of Crawley Avenue or the main school entrance on Lady Margaret Road. In addition to the main dance feature, Stop Gap have been running collaborative workshops with the two schools in partnership with Ifield Community College and St Margaret's CofE Primary School and students will perform their own dances at the fete. More musical and local talent will feature on the programme, alongside food, stalls, bouncy castles and family activities.
Quote: "This is going to be a fantastic, old style summer fete on a field with a twist: it will be fully accessible with a flat stage and track around the field and accessible 'Changing Places' toilets, all thanks to the Jubilee Fund. Bring a picnic, bring your friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of dance, music, stalls and games." Vanessa Dell, Head of Art, Manor Green College
