23rd July Last Day of Term - 1pm finish

Performing Arts

Performing Arts offers the chance for students to develop their skills in Music, Dance and Drama.

Students learn how to foster a love for performing and showmanship, along with developing new skills such as researching, creating and presenting skills. Students have a wealth of opportunities, including visits to see performances at local theatres and study a wide range of inspiring texts. Performing Arts students earn their strips when performing in the annual school production and at other arts events across the year.

We are incredibly lucky to have a specially fitted studio which supports our performing arts lessons. It is a great space for any rising stars to find their feet and flourish!

Each Spring term, after months of rehearsal and preparation, a school production is performed in the hall to parents/carers and our whole community. Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 rotate the opportunity each year.
In 2023 it was the turn of KS4 and they brought to life the spectacular Starlight Express!
